The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers is the largest bookkeeping institute in the world. It promotes and maintains the standards of bookkeeping as a profession through the establishment of relevant qualifications and the award of grades of membership that recognise academic attainment, working experience and competence.
Bookkeeping is a regulated profession under the Money Laundering Regulations (MLR) 2007 as amended. Provision of bookkeeping services are legally required to be monitored by an HM Treasury appointed supervisory authority such as the ICB and to put in place anti-money laundering controls to help them identify, prevent and report money laundering offences.
Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance details:
KMJ Bookkeeping has Professional Indemnity Insurance of £50,000 with Trafalgar Insurance Company Limited on an ‘any one claim’ basis.
KMJ Bookkeeping also has Public Liability Insurance of £1,000,000 underwritten by Hamilton Europe DAC.
